Bridgewater Sinfonia

The Bridgewater Sinfonia is a symphony orchestra based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The Sinfonia already owned a content-managed website, but needed to update the entire system to promote concerts more effectively. Migrating to WordPress, the site now offers a fully responsive user experience across mobile, table and desktop.

A more comprehensive rebrand was carried out in 2025. I designed a new logo, consisting of the orchestra name wrapped around a letter B emblem. The stylised graphical elements allude to musical notation and the alto clef.

I also support the advertising by designing concert posters, drawing on colourful stock photography.

Additional online features have been devised to promote concerts more widely and raise the profile of the orchestra:

• Automatic concert reminders are fed automatically into the Bridgewater Sinfonia Facebook page.
• The event management system allows sie managers to link to event management platforms such as Eventbrite.
• Concert listings now include embedded Google maps and venue information.
