Gareth Malone is a charismatic choir director and singer, and has recently shot to fame with his BBC series The Choir: Boys Don't Sing. In the fly-on-the-wall documentary, Gareth takes on the challenge of convincing a boys' school that singing isn't just for girls - and goes on to stage a concert in the Royal Albert Hall.
In designing his website, I wanted to convey some of the inspirational feeling of the series by depicting Gareth's approach in a photographically rich environment. The site is simple and offers a point of contact for the media, broadcasters, musicians and his ever-growing base of adoring fans.
The site has gone live just in time for Gareth's second BAFTA award for Best Feature for The Choir. A third series is currently in production and is due for transmission in Autumn 2009.
No doubt he'll be even more in demand, and now he has a distinctive web presence, thanks to McMorran Media.
